The Manchester BOE superintendent Kathleen Oulette has stated that her mission is to make sure that all students of Manchester CT Schools receive a strong education that will prepare them to compete in the global economy.  She certainly has been successful thus far, as year after year, the students of Manchester CT schools continue to improve their Connecticut Mastery Test scores, among other continued improvements. 

Manchester CT schools consist of 10 elementary schools, a 6th grade public academy, and 4 secondary schools.  The 6th grade academy, Elisabeth M. Bennet Academy, is the most recent addition, and boast state of the art technology to aid students in their quest for knowledge.  There is a digital library to help younger students get acquainted with using computers, as well as a robust and comprehensive effort to make students comfortable with the latest technologies.
